     This beautiful, brick home was built in 1907, by hotel owner and former mayor of Carbondale J. Charles Hundley and his wife, Luella.  The house was designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and currently rests in a very peaceful and diverse neighborhood.  Much like its surroundings, Hundley House is the embodiment of Carbondale's history.  And you will often find the home adorned with flowers, both inside and out.

     Since the building’s initial vacancy in 1928, it has housed various endeavors, including apartments, a gift shop, and a chiropractic office.  Renovation for the bed and breakfast began in 2009.
